8. Diversity in Our Classroom! Life and Career Skills Strand: Social and Cross-Cultural Skills Social Studies is a great subject to teach diversity because it deals with real life issues and people. As a teacher I will incorporate diversity through project-based assignments. Most students are not aware of how American society is affected by other cultures. For an activity students will research foreign influences of food, clothes and music on American culture and do presentations in class.
