2. What Bulldogs Look Like
ï Bulldogs have pushed in faces. They have either brown
or black eyes.
ï They are short and stubby. Bulldogs have wide rib
cages and hips that make them wiggle when they walk.
They are mostly brown and white, but can be
brindle, black or tan.
ï They grow 12 to 16 inches (30 to 41 centimeters tall).
Adult bulldogs weigh about 50 pounds (23 kilograms.)
3. A Bulldogâs Habitat
ï Bulldogs originally came from England.
ï People bred them to be aggressive. They were used to
play a sport called Bull-Baiting.
ï Today some people like to keep them as pets. They
spend most of their time in peopleâs houses. They like
to live in houses with big backyards, even though they
donât need as much exercise as other dogs.
4. What Bulldogs Eats
ï Like other dogs, Bulldogs are omnivores. That means
they eat both meat and plants.
ï Bulldogs need a balanced diet of
proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, and vitamins.
5. A Bulldogâs Life Cycle
ï Bulldogs have 1 to 5 puppies in a litter.
ï They live 8 to 12 years.
6. A Bulldogâs Dangers
ï Surprisingly most of the things we eat are a danger to
dogs like alcohol, avocado, chocolate, coffee and tea.
ï Grapes, raisins, milk and dairy products are also
dangers.
ï They can get rabies, Lyme Disease, and kennel cough.
