               Who is using standards and how?
               Developed a survey using Google Forms
               Questions - using standards, describe how you empower
               students to THINK, CREATE, SHARE, GROW in your
               library
               Distributed it to librarians via list servs, message boards,
               Twitter, conferences, etc.

Results?

               66 responses, many including images
               Most school librarians are using the Standards for the
               21st Century Learner in some way
               Many were using the Standards but felt they were not
               using them correctly or not at all
               Very few response indicated no use, only no knowledge
               that Standards existed

Solutions?

               Use survey content to promote the L4L initiative,
               particularly the Standards for the 21st Century Learner
               Produce original media explaining the Standards and
               how to use them in the library setting
               Also provide Web 2.0 tools that can be used in
               implementing the standards via technology
