This document outlines the four spiritual laws that govern people's relationship with God. The first law is that God loves people and has a wonderful plan for their lives. The second law is that people are sinful and separated from God, so they cannot know or experience God's love or plan without Jesus. The third law is that Jesus Christ is God's only provision to bridge the gap between God and people caused by sin. The fourth law is that people must receive Jesus Christ as their savior and lord in order to know God's love and experience his plan.
4. 1.1 God’s Love
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he
gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes
in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
1.2 God’s Plan
John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill
and destroy; I have come that they may have life,
and have it to the full.”
5. Why is it that most
people are not
experiencing this
abundant life?
6. Man is SINFUL and
SEPARATED from God.
Therefore , he can not know
and experience God’s love and
plan for his life.
7. 2.1 Man is sinful.
Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and
fall short of the glory of God.”
Man was created to have
fellowship with God; but
because of his stubborn &
self-will, he chose to go
his own independent way
and fellowship with God
was broken – the Bible calls this SIN.
8. 2.2 Man is separated.
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the
gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord.”
Spiritual separation from God
9. This diagram illustrates ,that God is holy and
man is sinful. A great gap separates the two.
The arrows
illustrate
that man is
continually
trying
to reach God
and abundant life through his own efforts,
such as a good life, philosophy or religion.
11. Jesus Christ is God’s
ONLY provision for
man’s sin.
Through Him you can know
and experience God’s love and
plan for your life.
12. 3.1 Jesus died in our place.
Romans 5:8
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in
this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
3.2 He rose from the dead.
1 Corinthians 5:3-6
“For what I received I passed on to you as of
first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to
the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on
the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he
appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that,
he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers
and sisters at the same time…”
13. 3.3 Jesus is the ONLY way to God
The diagram illustrates
that God has bridged
the gap which separate
us from Him by
sending His Son, Jesus
Christ to die on the
cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
14. We must individually
RECEIVE Jesus Christ as
Savior and Lord.
Then we can know and
experience God’s love and
plan for our lives.
15. 4.1 We must receive Christ.
John 1:12
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those
who believed in his name, he gave the right to
become children of God”
4.2 We must receive Christ through faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For it is by grace you have been saved,
through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is
the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can
boast.”
16. 4.3 We receive Christ by personal invitation.
Revelation 3:20
“Here I am! I stand at the door and
knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the
door, I will come in and eat with that person, and
they with me.”
