3.   Provide faster access to attain materials
4.   Enable teacher to update the content
     continuously
5.   Distribute the roles of teacher and learners
The Teachers’ Competence
in Utilizing ICT:
1.   Ability to recognize individual
     learning problem
2.   A careful consideration choice by the
     use of media
3.   Enable to check the information
4.   Develop effective research with the
     support of computer
5.   Able to use standard software.
The Roles of Teachers in ICT:

1.   Teacher as a facilitator and guide
2.   Teacher as an interrogator of media
3.   Teacher as a researcher
4.   Teacher as a designer of complex
     learning scenarios
5.   Teacher as a collaborator
6.   Teacher as an orchestrator of
     technology, learners, and curriculum
7.   Teacher as a learners
8.   Teacher as an evaluator.
LESSONS FOR STUDENTS

1.   ICT become much more learner –centered
2.   It enables learners to communicate
     inexpensively and quickly with other
     learner
3.   Publish and distribute the learners own
     multimedia information for an
     international audience
4.   Have more chance to utilize and
     manipulate language data using multiple
     media

HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATE
       ICT IN LANGUAGE LEARNING
1.   Accessibility of ICT tools for all learners
2.   The employment of a full-time technician
3.   Training for teachers
4.   The utilization of ICT tools maximally
5.   Learner-centered approaches of language
     learning
6.   A total commitment from all school communities
     and staffs to support the utilization of it.
7.   Learning classes with vision, support and
     proactive leadership
8.   Planning before actually develop it
9.   Three main components required are ready to
     use. They are: hardware, software, and brain
     ware.
SUMMARY
The utilization of ICT to enhance the teaching
       and learning of English has some
 consequences and requirements. It changes
    resulted from the application of ICT in
            teaching and learning.
   Responding the changes in teaching and
 learning of English, the teachers must have
some competences that need to be developed.
  A successful integration of ICT in language
      learning and teaching needs some
                 requirements.

  easier, can let us touch people we
might not otherwise. You may have a
child with a birth defect and be able
  to get in touch with other parents
   and support groups, get medical
 information, the latest experiment
  drugs these things can profoundly
             influence life.

  • 4. LESSONS FOR TEACHERS The Advantages of Using ICT: 1. Encourage creative and interactive work 2. Facilitate direct feedback 3. Provide faster access to attain materials 4. Enable teacher to update the content continuously 5. Distribute the roles of teacher and learners
  • 5. The Teachers’ Competence in Utilizing ICT: 1. Ability to recognize individual learning problem 2. A careful consideration choice by the use of media 3. Enable to check the information 4. Develop effective research with the support of computer 5. Able to use standard software.

  • 9. HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATE ICT IN LANGUAGE LEARNING 1. Accessibility of ICT tools for all learners 2. The employment of a full-time technician 3. Training for teachers 4. The utilization of ICT tools maximally 5. Learner-centered approaches of language learning 6. A total commitment from all school communities and staffs to support the utilization of it. 7. Learning classes with vision, support and proactive leadership 8. Planning before actually develop it 9. Three main components required are ready to use. They are: hardware, software, and brain ware.
  • 10. SUMMARY The utilization of ICT to enhance the teaching and learning of English has some consequences and requirements. It changes resulted from the application of ICT in teaching and learning. Responding the changes in teaching and learning of English, the teachers must have some competences that need to be developed. A successful integration of ICT in language learning and teaching needs some requirements.
