SNAP IT AND MAP IT! Calling on all nature enthusiasts! The Animal Demography Unit’s goal is to promote an appreciation of nature and biodiversity in Africa. Our purpose is to provide a platform for anyone in Africa to contribute to conservation projects (Citizen Science) by taking photographs of animals and plants in the wild and submitting them to our Virtual Museum. These records help us to understand the distributions of species, how they are impacted by humans, and what actions are needed to protect them. You can help us to map the amazing biodiversity of South Africa and Africa by submitting your photos to the Virtual Museum. The Animal Demography Unit is a research unit of the University of Cape Town (http://adu.org.za). You can also find us on Facebook. Visit the Virtual Museum website at http://vmus.adu.org.za/
