Online Meditation and Mindfulness
   Intervention Course Learning
    Development Supplement.
Remix My Mind is an online
meditation based intervention
course, designed for 10-12 year
old students in underserved
communities.
The purpose of meditation is to
become peaceful, clear, and more
focused, attributes desperately
needed for the many unique
challenges facing today’s youth.
There are studies that demonstrate the positive
(prosocial) impact of mindfulness based
activities for stress reduction and promotion of
positive emotional, behavioral, and educational
development for at risk students (Dariotis, 2010).
Course activities organized and
structured, necessary components
of an asynchronous learning
environment. (EDU 2.0 Learning
Management System).
Vygotsky Metacognition

Meditation and Mental Awareness Activities
allows students to become aware of their own
thinking, and create strategies to help
them improve it (Crain, 2005).
