How to MOOCify a course/training? • • • • • Choose an in-demand topic Duration of 4 – 16 weeks Get 2-3 speakers for each MOOC (the FVLJ) Empower people to support/moderate discussions/questions Blended learning (videos, virtual classroom, assessments, social learning) • Show short, interactive videos (1-5 min..think mobile) • Can add videos and screencasts too! • Include quizzes, forums, exercises, simulations and peer assessments
