3. Read the text Shark! The shark closed on Lockie and, without even thinking, Lockie pulled Lockie’s feet out of the water and tried to wrap his feet around Lockie’s neck. Lockie tried to make Lockie the size of a cashew nut, but the effort was too much and Lockie overbalanced and fell straight into the water right where the shark flashed under Lockie. For a moment, Lockie lay stunned on the water, expecting to see Lockie’s gizzards drifting around Lockie and one of Lockie’s legs floating by like driftwood, but Lockie felt no pain, nothing at all.
