Dénouement
What is a dénouement?  How do you SAY that word? Where does it come from?  What does it mean?
Dénouement is said like this: dayn-yu-mah-nt It is a French word which means: “to untie” as in knot.  In English, it means: to solve the problems in a story.
Other words similar to dénouement:  Conclusion Resolution  Ending All these words mean when the problem is fixed in a plot (story) and the story is finished.
What is the dénouement of “Little Women?”
What did you think of the ending?
Epilogues Say like: ep-il-og A final (or extra) chapter at the end of the book.  Usually tells you about the fate of the characters.  Some epilogues hint at sequels for another book or movie.
