2. 1933 World’s fair
 The 1933 world’s fair was held in Chicago, Illinois an
lasted between October 1933- May 1994
 The fair was held to celebrate “A Century of Progress”
 It was a “Century of Progress” theme because of all the
advancements in color and lighting

3. History
 This was the 221st world’s fair
 It was one of the largest worlds fairs

4. The cost
 A ticket to the 1933 worlds fair was 50 cents
 There were over 48 million people who came
 rides were 5 cents.

5. About
 There were over 200 exhibits
 And over 300 rides and games
 Many exhibits were based off of scientific
achievements made in the past century
 The fair also was held to celebrate the 100th year
anniversary of incorporations in Chicago

6. Exhibits
 There were many exhibits in this fair.
 Communications, Major automobile
manufacturers.
 The exhibit were painted to create a
rainbow as you walked by.
 The Zeppelin was a big exhibit
 There were many exhibits showing
new and future cars.

7. Success
 Originally the fair was supposed to run from October
1933 to November 1934.
 The fair was such a big success that it stayed open to
May of 1934.
 The fair was paid for by the exhibit fees and the
admission cost.
 Over all 48,769,227 people
visited the fair and over
1 million dollars were raised.
