Through Snowpeople in the Build a model snowperson or snow family for our “Snowpeople in the Library
January 15 Library Contest. Entries may be family or individual efforts. Anyone ages 6 and up is
Library Hours eligible to compete. For the 5 and under set we will have a snowman coloring
contest. Entry forms, rules, and other information available at the library until
January 15. The snow people will be on display in the library January 16-30,

December 6 Annual Holiday Military Families are invited to The Commons to enjoy Fort Drum’s Annual
5 pm Celebration Holiday Celebration. Military Family Members, who pre-register, will able to
participate in Operation Best Wishes where families can record holiday
greetings that are sent to their Soldier while deployed. The CYSS Choir will
sing a selection of Christmas songs. Binghamton, NY recording artist, Jerod
Campbell will perform holiday favorites. A free photo with Santa, toy, pizza,
cookies and punch will be provided to everyone in attendance. Magic and
balloon creations by Jason the Entertainer and holiday crafts are offered to
children keep everyone in the holiday spirit. This is a free event.

December 8 BOSS Gaming The BOSS facility has gaming systems, controller, and big-screen HD TV’s. All
6 pm Tournament they need is you. Compete against the best gamers in Fort Drum playing the
newest games. You can win some of the $300 in cash prizes by competing in

December 10 2011 Indoor Flag Tournament will be conducted at the Magrath Sports Complex. Tournament
Football is open to all Active Duty Military assigned or attached to Fort Drum, Family
Tournament members 19 years and older, and DoD Civilians employed on Fort Drum.

December 10 EFMP Holiday The Exceptional Family Member Program at ACS will hold their holiday party
10am – 2 pm Bowling Bash at the Pine Plains Bowling Center. Cost is $6.00 per person and includes
bowling and shoe rental. Space is limited, participants are asked to pre-

December 10 UFC Compliments Check out the Pay-Per-View UFC Fight Night at the Winner’s Circle Sports

2. December 13 Commons Family “Spend the evening out with the kids at the Winner’s Circle. Each week there
5 – 7:30 pm Night is a special fun activity for the children to participate in. The Pizza and Pasta
Buffet is sure to meet anyone's appetite. $6 for adults and $3 for children 8
and under. This week families will enjoy a holiday craft.

December 13 Holiday By The Buster’s Brew Pub presents Holiday by the Fireside. Wine tasting and musical
Seating at 5 and Fireside entertainment provided by members of Northern Blend Chorus. For dinner
7 pm the chefs at Busters have put together a special Holiday by the Fireside menu
offering a choice of cranberry-mushroom beef brisket, chicken stuffed with
walnuts apples and brie, or tomato-basil seasoned shrimp skewers. Each meal
is served with a fancy tossed salad, mashed sweet potatoes, savory fresh
vegetables and a dessert of homemade apple crisp. The cost for the evening is
$15 per person and seating times are five pm and seven pm. Holiday by the
Fireside is a great opportunity for your office to attend and have a no-fuss
holiday party with great atmosphere, great entertainment, and great food.

December 15 Trip to Lights On Lights on the Lake is a two mile long drive-through show featuring a towering

December 17 Snowmobile Safety Rider safety courses are required to use the snowmobiles. Must be 18 years of
9am – 4 pm Class age or older and have proper ID. Please wear or bring boots, gloves, and
appropriate outer wear,. These classes are held at the new “Dirty Harry’s
Sportsman’s Lodge. Maximum class size is 55. Cost per person is $5.
Registration is required. Additional classes can be scheduled by units on a

December 18 WWE Pay-per-view The Winner’s Circle Sports Bar has all of the excitement of viewing WWE
Pre-show 7:30 “TLC” Pay-Per-View on the big screen. Admission is $3. Doors open at 6 pm. Live

December 24 BOSS Home For BOSS invites you to feel at Home for the Holidays on December 24, when
