3. Some practical study techniques Read the notes fast and combine/ visualize the knowledge you got through the lectures Read the notes with care and underline or highlight the important areas Make a short note based on what you have understood Make mind maps as to your short notes Make Acronyms for ease of memory
4. Read out your short note silently Read your short note as if you are delivering a lecture and record it onto your phone or a digital recorder Play the recorded when you are relaxing to have it like a background music Use you as your own lecturer
5. Find a good friend and invite him to your home Make joint studies Get pass papers and develop answers If possible hold a Kuppi Class for your friend /friends

7. Do not try to over study an area that you cannot really understand well. You always a have a choice and you will not fail just because you do not understand one topic or a module. Try and do well in the areas that you like most

Final days before the day of exams Have the time table of the exams in a visible place and make a note it on your organizer If exams are held in a different place than the place you go for lectures, find out the place in advance Get all the pens, pencils etc ready well in advance Get your dress ready before the exam day Never study till late night just before the exam day Relax and go to the exam hall early Plan to go early for the exam

12. Jot down ideas as they come to you.While you are answering one question, information about another may suddenly occur to you. Jot it down them somewhere because when you come to that question perhaps an hour later, you may have forgotten it.
13. Don't leave any question unanswered.If you are short of time, answer in point form. Remember, you can only be marked on the answers you give.
14. Never leave the room early.If you have time at the end, go over your work, add information (eg in the margin). You can't return if you suddenly remember a fact after you have left. Certain examiners mark the time on paper if you leave early.
15. Do not spend too long on multiple choice questions.With multiple choice questions it is best to cover the answers and work out your own before looking at the choices on paper. If you can't answer the question come back to it later - have a guess.
16. Never omit an entire question.No matter how well you answer other questions, you must leave time for all questions – a perfect answer can still only earn a certain number of marks. If you write nothing, you can't receive any marks and you have lost all your marks for a particular question. Write something - it may at least give you a few points.
17. - Get clarifications from invigilators If you have any ambiguity as to questions you may get clarifications Check again that you have written the correct Index Number Check that you have answered the required number of questions from different parts of the exam paper
18. Do not discuss much about the answers you wrote with others after the exam Never give up just because you think that you did not do well Be positive Lets get on with the next paper
