- 4. 1.Sympathywith vision. Just giving product might not work well when it broken or reach life time. But sharing information how to make it will work. This is what I learned in Kenya.
- 5. 2.Lack of skills. When I tried to repair solar lanterns which are broken, but I could not do it because of lack of skills.
- 7. Problem consciousness In a village where there is no electrify in Kenya, people use kerosene lamp. But there are disadvantages. Emitting toxic smoke Risk of fire Running cost to buy kerosene
- 8. Problem consciousness Solar lantern could be alternative light by solving issues. But, still there are points to be improved. Once it is broken or reach life time, you have to get another one. Also, poor can afford to buy it because of high price
- 9. Concept Appropriate light that people in village can make it by using local available materials and tools.
