The city sleeps, but some of us are awake, the daylight has long gone, the eternal inky blackness of the moons shadows is punctuated by city lights that do little to make up for the lack of light the suns departure has brought, the minds layer of hallucination comes to life, dreams form puddles reflecting the flickering neon glows. As we stare awake into the darkness we wander will the sun come back again? Nocturnal Dreaming is a group art show featuring the works of 6 inner city artists : Bianca Markwell (photography),Shanta (stencil art),Raul Manriquez (installation),Peter Strong, Perren Costi (lightbox works) and Giles Morgan (Sculpture). The mediums are mixed, the approaches varied. All the artists are dealing with the feelings that night time evokes in the urban environment.
