1. June has arrived and you can literally hear the Vuvuzella’s blaring! (That will certainly be the case on Saturday when
the Stormers take on the Bulls at the Orlando Stadium!) To think that half the year has passed is almost unbelievable,
the upside to that is that we can almost start getting excited about all the things that go together with the last part of
the year. In this months newsletter we have created a few special end of the year function packages together with
other associate companies to take the stress out of planning your desired event. We have seen a good month in May
and we are positive about the prospects that the Soccer World Cup holds for the country. Don’t forget to pop in at
Outeniqua Primary School for the George Cheese Festival between the 10th & 13th of June 2010. Have a good
Month!

The 2011 Demetrios Collection has hit the shelves of Tramonto!!!
“Trend-proof and timeless” These are the qualities found in the new Cosmobella Collection from Demetrios Bridals,
available at Lady Marmalaide @ Tramonto. These gowns from world-famous designer Demetrios are proof that simple
needn't mean minimal. Working with delicate, sensual and fine detailing, he has created dresses that are lyrical,
shapely and imbued with a sense delicate", the designer explained, "as though the dress has been blown together."
Extraordinary fabrics are the basis of the Cosmobella Collection, which encompasses styles ranging from the clean
and unadorned to the elaborate and intricately worked. The result is a gown that follows the curves of the body
naturally. Opulent but thoughtful, full of details that enchant the eye and compliment, rather than upstage, the
modern-day bride. That being said, what are you waiting for? Organize your fitting with one of the planners today!

DESIGNS
BALI
For those who seek a style which combines outdoor and indoor living, Bali is a sound choice. Balinese architecture
6. evidences sharp angles and a merging of modern with traditional, organic materials, such as teak and smooth stones.
In this design, living areas face on to landscaped gardens and private courtyards.
CONTEMPARARY
It is the sense of freedom that earmarks the contemporary style. The clean lines, the flow of open space within and
the sense of modern luxury all make it a favourite design. Form is combined with function and the walls of glass
create the impression that nature has been drawn right into the heart of the home.
MODERN FARMHOUSE
This style, which has had a marked influence on home design everywhere, offers a combination of simplicity and
modern convenience. In a nutshell, it reflects timelessness, resilience and no-fuss comfort.
RUSTIC FARMHOUSE
A pleasing harmony of traditional architecture and contemporary design is skillfully balanced here. The features which
make modern living easier blend unobtrusively with an open-plan style, rugged detail and back-to-nature finishes. As
in the past, the kitchen is a focal point and the bedrooms are clustered together. A porch completes the traditional
farmhouse design.

Leana & Ulrich
9. Leana and Ulrich met two years ago at the furniture business of Leana’s family. Ulrich remembers that his phone –
with a beautiful photo as screen saver taken by him on a hiking expedition – was lying on the counter. Leana spotted
the picture on the phone and this became a conversation topic on which, according to the couple, their whole
relationship is based. The tale of the hiking expedition could not be told in such short time – which lead to coffee!
One coffee became three or four, which lead to more stories of hiking, which in turn lead to more coffee and later
dinners as well!! Exactly a year after the couple met they spent an autumn evening in the Karoo. Just there they
decided that from that time onwards they would do all their hiking together – with a ring on the left ring finger!!!
They got married exactly a year after their engagement.
“The search for the perfect wedding venue was quite short actually! We had a list of places to go to. Tramonto was at
the top of the list and none of the other venues could compare to what we saw first!!”
“It was exactly what we were looking for! Our idea was to have an intimate small, weekend wedding and Tramonto
fitted the requirement, especially with its gorgeous Honeymoon Suite and other accommodation on site! Wilma and
her team was great in organising our perfect day. Not a single mistake slipped in (at least not to our knowledge). We
were the perfectly happy and relaxed bride and groom in 7th heaven!!
Thank you to Tramonto for the wonderful memory of 13 March 2010.
