A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TOURIST IN BARCELONA
That morning I woke up at 8:30 am. Then I had breakfast at the hall near the
reception. Afterwards I went to the street and I start visiting Barcelona!
First I wanted to visit Passeig de Gràcia, I went into the underground and I took
the metro at 9:15 am. and I left at the Passeig de Gràcia station, where I went
to visit "La Pedrera" because is a nice place! I spent 1 hour inside.
After "La Pedrera" i went to visit "La Casa Batlló" because everyone who comes
to Barcelona needs to visit this building! I went inside to visit it, it was very
beautiful and modern style, it feels you like you are at the beginning of the XIX
Century and I really liked this! It is very nice and cosy.
After this visit I went to Plaça Catalunya, because is the centre of the city. When
i arrived there I was really surprised, it was very, very nice and crowded of
people! I did some pictures for my family! Because they will really like this
square! I went inside of "El Corte Ingles" because in the 7th floor there was a
restaurant with wonderful views of all Barcelona. I have seen the sea, Plaça
Catalunya, the Rambla, the mountain of Collserola…
Later I spent all the evening in "Portal de l'Angel", a commercial street, buying
some clothes and presents for my family!
This have been my day, a beautiful and pleasant day. Tomorrow I'm going to
visit Collserola! I'm very excited because in my guide it appears as an
interesting place not to be missed.
In general, tourists know something of Barcelona, but when they come to the
city they are very happy and excited to be here, and they consider that
Barcelona is better than they thought.
We thing that 90% of the tourists really like Barcelona, because it's a nice,
clean, funny, cultural and sunny city.
We really like this city!
