The shout and the most part of the west is full of
mountains, specially in Spain and Ireland.

Scandinava, near the coast.

state. The Water Framework Directive is an

quality". The Birds Directive is a piece of
European Union legislation for protection of
biodiversity and natural habitats. These
protections however only directly cover animals
and plants; micro-organisms have no protection
under European Union law.

UNESCO’s decision to include the park in the
international network of biosphere reserves.
