The Lottery
 BY: CARLA VELASQUEZ
The Beginning

 It was June 27th and it was long summer hot days in the
  village.
 People were gathering their children for the lottery and
children were already gathering piles of stones.
 The lottery would always take place in where the
Halloween dances , square dances , and teen clubs were
  conducted.
 Mr. Summers conducted almost everything including
  the lottery.
 Everybody was waiting for Mr. Summers with the black
  box.
The Waiting !!!!

 While everyone was waiting for the lottery Mr.
Summers had to write down the heads of families in
  a piece of paper.
 Then while everyone was getting ready to get their
paper Mrs. Hutchinson came in a hurry because she
forgot that today was the day of the lottery.
 Many people started to get their pieces of paper and
they were looking nervously because they didn’t
know who was going to win the lottery.
The Quotes!!!!!!

 “Lottery in June, corn be heavy soon.”
Facts…

 The black box has been made out of the past black
 boxes used for the lottery.
