Tensta is a suburb in which almost all houses were
built during the 1960s. The name ”Tensta”
comes from the name of traditional fishing
equipment used by the vikings. The majority of
all who live in Tensta are immigrants or second
generation immigrants. Therefor, you can find a
lot of shops and fashion in this suburb which
you can’t find in city. The Swedish Royal family
formally opened the school in 1984.
