CPUs.
The modular structure of the SIMATIC controller family allows you to
develop a solution tailored to your needs and special applications as a
complement to SIMATIC PCS 7:
Firstly with regard to selection of the appropriate performance categories
ranging from S7-200 to S7-400, and secondly with regard to selection of the
most suitable functionality.
For example, you could use SIMATIC C7 which provides a compact
combination of automation and HMI functions if you need compact stations
located right next to the production equipment.
