This document discusses school libraries in Turkey. It describes that school libraries are managed by the Ministry of Education and must have a librarian if they have over 3,000 books. Otherwise, a teacher acts as the librarian. It also describes library clubs run by students that help operate school libraries. Public libraries are managed by the Ministry of Culture or local municipalities. Budgets for school libraries are decided by the principal and library club teacher. Libraries are evaluated by education supervisors who check documents and resources.
