Minnesota doesn’t have any fossil fuel resources . . . so almost everything we spend on energy—again, for electricity, for heating and cooling, and for transporting ourselves, our food, our goods—eventually ends up out of state. EXCEPT the investments that we make in renewables—wind, solar, biofuels, geothermal—here in our region. The renewable energy economy means a real revolution for ruralMinnesota.
