It has helped learning immensely” Ideas and questions are floated on the discussion board prior to seminars so students have the chance to begin discussing them before coming to the class. This offers a new way of addressing student engagement in the course, of building interest. Staff responses If a lecturer answers a question in a discussion area, then it is available to everyone….it has taken pressure off my (student) office hours WebCT has not changed what I do radically but it’s created a far better learning environment for students.
