Thurston "Godfrey" Hopkins is a well known British photojournalist who spent most of his career working for The Picture Post, where from 1950 he documented everyday post-war life in Britain. Unlike other photographers, Hopkins believed strongly in the importance of collaboration between writers and photographers to tell a full story. Hopkins lives in England with his wife and colleague, Grace Robertson.
