the details • Located in a beautiful rural setting with rolling hills surrounding the property. • The congregation outgrew their existing Temple; new construction added 10,700 square feet. • A new Temple seats 350 and includes a new Narthex and Exonarthex. • The walls of the new Temple were left intentionally bare as a blank canvas so iconography, an important aspect of the Orthodox religion, can be added over time. The church has already begun the process of incorporating their iconography in the space. • The existing Temple and Fellowship Hall will remain on campus to be used for other functions. • The addition also created a new connector building to join the old and new Temples and the Fellowship Hall building. The space includes a cry room/bride’s room, new restrooms, church offi ces and workroom space, new atrium/classroom and a new bookstore.
