View turnitin similarity report (Staff)

1. Viewing the Originality Report
for Teachers

After logging in Moodle, click on the course you want to view the Originality Report.
In this case, we click on “Demo Course”.

Click on Assignment 1 Learning Strategies.

Then click the Submission Inbox tab to check the status of student submission.

On the Submission Inbox page, enrolled students are listed on the left side of the screen.

If you want to view the submission details of a particular student, click the Expand icon “ ” next to the student’s name.
In this case, we click the Expand icon next to STUDENT02, LTTC.

To view the Originality Report, click on the percentage and a new window will open.

The left side shows the original submitted work and the right side shows a list of matching sources.

View/edit filters and settings
By default, the Similarity Index, which is 70% in this case, includes quotes and bibliography.
To change this setting, click on “ ” (View/edit filters and settings).

Check the boxes “Exclude Quotes” and “Exclude Bibliography”, then click the Apply Changes button.
