Halloween is celebrated differently in the U.S., Spain, and the author's school. In the U.S., Halloween has been celebrated for a long time on October 31st, where children and some adults dress up in costumes and go door-to-door saying "trick or treat" to collect candy. In Spain, Halloween is less common and mainly celebrated by some children and adults who dress up and say "truco o trato." At the author's school, they have Halloween activities like face painting and decorating pumpkins.
2. Halloween in the U.S.A
Halloween is an U.S.A´s festivity. They celebrate it a long
time ago the 31st of October.
In this festivity children and sometimes adults too, dress
up in scary and funny costumes. Later they go to the
neighbour's door and they say trick or treat!! People give
children sweets and sometimes money, or children do bad
things.
Children use Jack O´lanterns to transport the sweets.
In the U.S.A in Halloween there are scary houses.
3. Halloween in Spain
Halloween is not a typical party in Spain. We
celebrate it a little time ago the 31st of October. Only
some children and a few part of adults celebrate
Halloween. They dress up with scary costumes like
devils, witches, vampires, ghosts and pumpkins too.
Later they go to some houses and they say “truco o
trato”.
In Spain there are not scary houses because they are
not typical. Only some people put little
ghosts, skeletons and bats in their houses.
4. Halloween in my school
In my school we do some games for Halloween,
some children paint scary faces and we did scary and
funny faces in pumpkins or melons too.
In my school there are pumpkins, bats, ghosts and a
lot of decorations about Halloween that children do.
I think that this year we will do something like the
last years.
5. Halloween is not my favorite party of the year, because
I prefer other parties, but I like Halloween too.
Last year and this year neither I don´t dress up because
I don´t like it, but when I was very little a dressed up
like a witch. It was very funny!!
I never go to houses and I don’t say trick or treat
because there are not a lot of people that
celebrate Halloween where I live.
In my house we don’t put any things of Halloween.
