[Spring / Summer 2012 Look, Spring Collections, Patterned Suits and Dress]
It's just never too early to throw a look at the upcoming spring collections in the
gray autumn. Opening Ceremony delighted us today with a very pretty look. The
unique charm of the brand comes out again without a lot of staging. The images
of photographer-Tim Barber are simply decorated. Models pose in front of a
colorful background. Daiane Sondre, Hyoni Kang and Camille Rowe act in her
playful patterned suits and dress but so cheerful and boisterous, that the good
mood infects easiness.
The look is sporting combinations in straight sections and stripes or plaids with
romantic lace or crochet looks. Vivid colors contrast with black and nudes.
Amusing motifs, such as cats and monkeys provide the typical OC-charm. A bit
of leather and metallic give the collection the necessary tension.
A must-have of course the sweetheart, small collar with which to reckon with
Opening Ceremony is simple. But as much as I like them too, I am beginning to
worry that you could have until next spring, seen enough of them. But wait. Until
then, the white shirt dress with kitten is on my wish list. The entire look book you
