• When a male polen joins with a female
ovule, a seed is made, and then a fruit.
• Insects can carry some pollen from one
flower to another.
• Insects have food from nectar and can
make honey.

• FRUITS grow from flowers.
• We can classify fruit into
two groups:
• FLESHY FRUITS are juicy because
they have a lot of water:pears, apples,
melon, …
• NUTS do not have a lot of water:
acorn, peanuts, …
