The Coral Digital Conference Card provides for 2 simultaneous 15 party conference bridges. The CNF card provides high quality, lossless, digital, multi-party conferencing features. An extremely fast, proprietary comparator algorithm selects the speaking party in the conference 8,000 times a second, and transmits the selected voice signal to all other parties. A maximum of 50 conference cards are allowed in the Coral system. This number is dependent upon the number of available service and or universal card slots. Conference cards can be bridged together with the addition of analog tie line card producing one 84 party conference bridge.
Enhanced Group Call and Conference: In this version we offer a new set of features to enhance the Group Call/Conference capability. New feature codes: #1446 - Feature code that enables an authorized user (COS) to remove an attendee. #1447 - Feature code that enables an authorized user (COS) to clear the whole enhanced conference. #1449 - Feature code that enables an authorized user (COS) to add new members. This feature provides a controlled/managed conference environment. The conference operator dials the group call number (or dial in the confirmation code after adding the conference members on the fly), all the phones in the group call ring, and whoever answers joins the conference, muted or not depend on the Join_Member_In_Mute field setting in the group call definition. An exciting attribute of this feature enables the conference operator to give a muted member the right to talk. This can be accomplished by pressing a pre-programmed button with the HELP feature and the conference operator number. This will signal the conference operator that an attendee is requesting the right to talk, the indication will be in terms of a display message and a blinking DSS button of that attendee. The conference operator can grant the request to talk by pressing the blinking attendee DSS button, and at the same time the attendee will get TRX_ON indicated on the display, meaning that the request was granted and conversation can commence.
