Speciation: How does it work? By: Leah Geiser
First we start with one big population of fuzzy balls….remember these from human origins???
This is the world they live in
Because their world is predominantly two colors and survival is necessary the fuzzies on either side evolve to be the color of their environment PARAPATRIC SPECIATION!!!!
Some of the fuzzies like white flowers others like orange so they stay separate due to eating patterns….
Now the fuzzies are evolving to the environment with the flowers producing two new species…again SYMPATRIC SPECIATION!!!!!
After a couple of years the fuzzies’ mountain erupts…because it was actually a VOLCANOE!!!!!
OH NO! Now the fuzzies are separated and their evolution progresses in different directions…. ALLOPATRIC SPECIATION!!!!
