Prop choices and why.

1. Props List
Kebab Takeaway floor of Trevor's room and it will be on his
We will have this on the
messy floor I feel this prop will be quite effective at showing his British
and messy nature. Another character also will have a kebab but he
will be eating it, as he is overweight to show a comical side to him.
Mock Cocaine is a significant part of our opening as it
The cocaine
establishes the plot that they are involved in the drug dealing
industry also. Also the amount suggest wealth.
Gun
The gun shows the character could be in some sort of
trouble, Or that he plans to use it. This prop also
indicates there is going to be an amount of violence in
the film and they are involved with criminals.

2. Mobile Phones
Mobile phones will help us have communication between two
characters that are in different sets . Also we plan for the
sound to be both non diegtic and diegtic at different times
this will be done through a ringtone.
Ash Tray
The ashtray shows our main character smoke excessively
which is conventional and shows he is not healthy and it is also
for the purpose of making his room look quite messy.
Credit Card
The credit card will be placed next to the cocaine suggesting
either he’s used it or suggests that he is cutting up the drugs
which supports the idea of him selling them. Also the credit card
suggest he’s wealthy or take risks with his money

3. Cigarettes The cigarettes show the character doesn't care about his
health giving him that sort of hard man brand. Also the fact
people have a cigarette when they are stressed worried and
relaxed will allow the audience to understand how the
character is feeling.
Cigarette Lighter
The lighter is obviously used for lighting the cigarette. Also ad Tony
our ‘side kick’ character to Trevor asks to borrow his lighter to light
his cigarette which indicates which character is organised and is in
power.
Axe
The axe is for the antagonist as its quite an unconventional
weapon it creates humour and also adds to the psychotic nature of
him as he came with a weapon that would cause horrific injury
which requires a lot more effort than a gun it also creates pun on
his nickname ‘Lumber Jack’ .
