These are comments about the Chicago Public Schools Department of Libraries Project ELITE technology training program for librarians.

2. Teacher Comment One teacher asked me to keep her updated on all the different technologies that I am learning about. She wants to learn from me.

3. Student Comment Many of the 5th grade students loved doing the Voicethreads and they wanted to learn more applications.

4. Administrator Comment My Principal commented that he was glad that I was learning more technologies since it looks like our Tech Coordinator's position is being cut for next year.

5. Teacher Comment Mr. Berning thought the Glogs were awesome. He assured me that he will have his students use them again next year. They made Glogs about biomes for science class.

6. Student Comment Are we working on our glogs again today? Good. 9th grader.

7. Administrator Comment My principal was very impressed with the use of the new technologies learned in Projectelite. She not only heard about it from me but also read what teachers had incorporated into their lesson plans. She suggested that I conduct an after school class next year to get the teachers on board.

8. Student Comment Wiki - It is very challenging. It is more difficult than the traditional research project. But I like it. I have learned a lot from it.

9. Teacher Comment Wikis - I like it. It really helps prepare students for their college. After initial shock, the students have become comfortable with it. It opens a new way of thinking and researching.

10. Administrator Comment I saw the student Digital Story Telling projects. I like it and thank you for your leadership in technology integration.

11. Teacher Comment The technology teacher has been amazed by the range of new tools that I have been mastering in recent months. It is completely changing and improving how we operate as well as our plans for next year.

12. Student Comment An 8th grader creating a Voicethread project about her own artwork offered that the nature of Voicethread allowed her to express herself more fully and in a manner more comfortable for her compared to projects in which she is required to present live in front of a group.

13. Administrator Comment The principal of my school recognizes that I am trying to transform the middle school library and technology programs…The principal and I are certain that the students will accomplish more and better projects in a more efficient way.

14. Student Comment The 4th grade teachers are excited about the work their students are doing with a combination of the Art Institute data base and Voice thread.

15. Teacher Comment 6th grade teacher said, "Wow, I am going to add Animoto Book Trailers to my book club."

16. Student Comment Voicthread student said, "I love this! Can we stay in the library all day?"

17. Administrator Comment Administrator said that he loved the new technologies and had me inservice the entire staff on Staff Institute Day.

18. Student Comment Third Grader on Animoto:"This was awesome. I did a great job. How can I show this to my mom?"

19. Administrator Comment Thank you for giving our students these experiences. They are really learning.
