Paying off the National Deficit
Seems impossible, right?
WRONG
We can look at this
mathematically…
By just doing some research
online, you can find that this
         is possible
IF
EVERYBODY
 CHIPS IN!
Click on the
link below…
  to sign a
   petition
OKAY
Here’s how
 the math
   works
According to NPR.org, last
year the government collected
   $1.1 TRILLION dollars
This money was JUST from
       individuals
NOT
CORPORATE
NOT PAYROLL
    TAX
JUST FROM
INDIVIDUAL
INCOME TAX
NOW
What does
this mean?
Let’s take a look at the total
personable income made in
      the USA last year
According to UNM.edu, the
TOTAL PERSONAL INCOME
last year for the USA was
    $12,949,905,000,000
Or to translate,
 $12 Trillion!
So, to recap, out
 of $12 Trillion
Only $1 Trillion
 went to the
 government
Or
approximately
   12.95%
Feels like it is a
lot more out of
your paycheck,
     right?
But, most of us
     get a
government tax
    return
Which who
 doesn’t look
forward to? 
ANYWAYS
TO GET BACK
 ON TOPIC
According to BLS.gov, there is
approximately 240 MILLION
employed people in the USA.
That is the Civilian
Noninstitutional Population
OR YOUR AVERAGE JOE
You, and Me
This means, out of the $12
Trillion made every year by us
Out of 240 Million employed,
 the average person makes
    about $54,000 a year
Now, I don’t make that, I
make far LESS than that
BUT THAT IS THE
  STATISTICS
So HERE is
 where the
math comes
 together
My idea is to
put in place a
TEMPORARY
  Debt Tax
If we put in
place a 10%
    TAX
Just to pay off
  the deficit
Which is
currently over
 $16 Trillion
And not use
this TAX for
ANY OTHER
 PURPOSE
We would have
  the deficit
 PAID OFF
 in 13 Years
Did I read that
    right?
YES, you did.
  13 Years.
This tax would not
affect the current
     tax table
So, people that are
     struggling
   (poverty line)
would not pay this tax
It only would apply to
 TAXABLE INCOME
And here’s the math if
you don’t believe me.
240 Million Employed
 $12 Trillion Income
   10% Debt Tax =
 $1,294,990,500,000
  collected A YEAR
Or roughly
$1.3 Trillion collected
for the 10% Debt Tax
What is our current
     deficit?
Over $16 Trillion?
$1.3 Trillion
 x 13 Years

$16.9 Trillion
That sounds like
enough to pay off the
 deficit, doesn’t it?
This would mean
 America would be
back in the hands of
   AMERICANS
And not foreign
  countries
Please sign the
 petition in the link
below if you believe in
      this cause.
We only have until
Feburary 14th, 2013 to

 get 100,000 Votes.
Thanks for watching!
