• Get your 1.0 in shape before you think about 2.0.
• Understand that social media is not a strategy.
• Get everybody together in the same room.
• Create a social media policy and guidelines.
• Include the do’s as well as the dont’s.
• Find the people who are already participating and empower
   them.
• Set up your listening apparatus. Listen until you understand.
• Integrate social media; don't think of it as a separate
   discipline.
• Lead by example.
• Share best practices, both internally and externally.
