6. Personal Hygiene Please be sure your child is able to take care of him or herself. They should be able to wash their hands after using the bathroom and using tissues. Please practice zipping, tying, and buttoning clothing so your child can be independent.

11. School Folder Each child will receive a school folder. All important papers and notes will be placed inside. Please check your child’s folder each day. Any messages for me (or the office) should be placed inside the folder.
12. Excuse Cards When your child is sick, please call the school and leave a message. When your child returns to school, you should complete a blue Excuse Card and place it in the folder. If you are planning an Educational Trip, forms are available in the office.
13. Rest Time Each afternoon we will have a short rest time. Please send in a towel or small blanket for your child’s mat. It will be sent home Friday to be washed.
14. Volunteering at School We are always happy to have volunteers in our classrooms. Please complete the necessary clearance forms before you plan on volunteering.
