The NABJ Alé student organization exists to bridge the color gap in media and connect black journalism students to professionals in the field. It prides itself on community service and mentorship programs. The organization's leaders introduce themselves and state their goals, which include growing membership, connecting with the local black community and campus, becoming a safe haven for students, and bringing all black journalists together.

We are more than just a collegiate organization. We exist to bridge the color

brightest in the field. We are a personal network and build strong
relationships with students that share similar interest. NABJ Alé takes pride
