4. Library Databases: Most of the print periodicals in the Career Resource Library were also available through our subscription databases, e.g., Academic Search Premier . We wanted to eliminate this duplication in the collections, as well as take advantage of the hundreds of additional sources indexed in the databases.
5. World Wide Web: We also wanted to inform our patrons about new career-related content and tools elsewhere on the web, such as this directory of international corporate employers, launched earlier this year.

9. CareerNow! Blog entries are published directly to the Career Resource Library home page, branded as CareerNow! (College web staff helped us embed this feature in our existing site.)
10. Metadata: Each blog entry is assigned to one or more categories. Users can select a category to browse all entries for that topic.
11. Patrons can have CareerNow! delivered via RSS to a personal home page or feed reader.
