DAMASK DRAWING ROOM
Full Interior Design, Project Management & Installation
THE BRIEF
To create a warm and welcoming
reception room. A place where the
family can relax and watch films or
for the parents to entertain.
The main challenge was to find a
way to incorporate the flat screen TV
into the room. By creating a feature
wall using dark textured wallpaper
a n d l a rg e a r t w o r k s t h e s c re e n
becomes less obtrusive and the wall
creates an impact of which the TV is
only part.
The mock Georgian property allowed
for a mix of traditional shapes placed
with contemporary colours to reflect
the style of the architecture.

CONTEMPORARY
SCALE
The fabric used for the
curtains features a
traditional embroidered
Damask and the scale of the
pattern and the deep purple
and gold colours give the
fabric a more contemporary
look.
Bespoke wall mounted
floating AV cabinets were
designed as there were no
suitable storage solutions to
fit the clients requirements.
The cabinets are cantilevered
with a pair of doors which
open forwards for access.

CHINESE BLOSSOM MASTER BEDROOM
Full Interior Design, Project Management & Installation
THE BRIEF
The master bedroom was in need of
an update and had to incorporate the
client’s existing pieces of furniture.
Simply adding a pale shade to the
walls gave a perfect base for the
vibrant Chinese blossom fabric.
A new carpet in a natural shade was
chosen and full length made to
measure curtains and a roman blind
in the vivid Chinese style fabric were
added to lift the scheme and
complement the existing pieces of
furniture.

GUEST BEDROOMS
Interior Design & Styling
THE BRIEF
The task was to transform the rooms
with a minimum budget in the space
of two weeks before the clients family
came to stay.
The guest bedrooms were being used
as a dumping ground for skiing gear
and furniture which was no longer in
use.
By moving the larger items of
furniture out and adding an ottoman
storage bed the green en-suite
bedroom could be used by a couple.
The apple green accents and tactile
fabrics created an inviting guest
bedroom.

bedrooms for visitors of all ages
SIMPLE & STYLISH
The original wall colour and
the curtains remained the
same and by using single
accent colours in each of the
guest bedrooms the schemes
were kept simple but created
an impact.
Lift-up Ottoman storage beds
in both rooms gave the
required additional storage
and the coordinating
elements in each room meant
a fast effective solution was
delivered making a pair of
welcoming guest bedrooms

TEENAGE PLAYROOM
Full Interior Design, Project Management & Installation
THE BRIEF
The boys had grown up in this room
with yellow and green walls and a
dinosaur border so the time had
come to give them a more grown up
area where they can entertain their
friends.
Adequate storage for the flat screen
TV, all their toys and computer games
paraphernalia needed to be
incorporated. Building the relatively
inexpensive modular system meant
the clutter can be kept at bay.
A consultation with the boys revealed
that they didn’t want their playroom
to look anything like their friends
rooms...

hi-gloss finish against the
whitewashed walls creates
the standout the client

youthful element to the
room.
Continuing with the graffiti
theme the added feature of
a wall painted with
whiteboard paint and hand
applied decals gives the
room a quirky personalised
look.
