Introduction:
Modern Art offers a confusing variety of
movements and mannerisms. Among the prevailing
styles, one extreme is 'Abstract art'. By "Abstraction",
wemean'whatisderivedordisengagedfromnature-the

Inawayabstractionwillincludeanyformofexpression
which dispenses with the phenomenal image and relies
on elements that are conceptual, metaphysical and
absolute.

and seem to agree only on the liberty to experiment

Abstract art is sought out as if everything was

'Abstraction' will include any form of expression which dispenses with the phenomenal images and relies on
the element of Expression- they could be conceptual, metaphysical or absolute. The universal and timeless
shapes found in geometry: the circle, square and triangle become the spatial elements in abstract art; they are,
like colour, fundamental systems underlying visible reality.

possible or trying to reach to the perfection, but what
is abstraction? According to Herbert Reed, "Abstrac-

pure and essential form in concrete details."Hence the
term 'Abstraction' is understood as something 'Ab-
stracted fromNature'. But this rather is a matter ofcon-

TechniquesandArtworks:
It is always abstruse form of Art and tries to
concentrate on the essential qualities of things. The
Artist dealing with abstract Art attempts to extract the
essence from nature & life and portrays the ideas of
things. For instance, 'TheWorld Watered'is an abstract
term, not liquid, wet or cold, in fact it has none of the
physical characteristics of reality, but as an abstraction
it suggests many things to the reader.

of the idea, for instance- water in painting by choosing
