recession
• Richard has been involved in projects for over 20 years. He has been
active with a ide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals,
chemicals, engineering and manufacture, construction, information
systems and telecommunications and has held senior roles in Astra
Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly, IMC and British Alcan.
He has a special interest in the risk and recovery aspects of projects, as

Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his Masters and PhD
research focused on high-performance parallel processing.

• Stephen has been on the faculty of The Data Warehousing Institute
since 1996. During Barack Obama's first term he was also appointed to

Closing Session: Art and Projects
• Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Főiskola harsona és tanári szakán szerzett diplomát.
• 1978-tól kezdve oktat a Zeneakadémia jazz tanszakán zenetörténetet, szolfézst és jazz-improvizációt.
• 1989-ben alakította meg a Brass Age együttest, majd az ESP Groupot 1994-ben. Játszott
ezenkívül az Interbrass, a Budapest Big Band, az LGT, és a Jazz+Az zenekarokban is.
• A Budapest Music Centert (BMC) 1996-ban alapította Gőz László. Elsődleges célja egy olyan
zenei információs központ kialakítása volt, amely összegyűjti és nemzetközi viszonylatban is
hozzáférhetővé teszi a magyar klasszikus és jazz zenészek, valamint a magyar kortárs
zenedarabok adatait. Az információs központ folyamatosan bővülő internetes zenei
adatbázisaiban jelenleg 3000 művész és 10500 zenemű adatai szerepelnek, és ingyen
látogatható zenei könyvtára mintegy 90 ezer könyvet, kottát, hanglemezt számlál.
• 2013 márciusában a BMC történetének meghatározó mérföldkövéhez érkezett: 4000
négyzetméteren megnyitotta új zenei központját Budapest kulturális és oktatási
negyedének szívében, a Belső-Ferencvárosban, a Mátyás u. 8 szám alatt.
• A BMC Records lemezkiadó 1998-ban alakult, albumainak száma mára eléri a 200-at.
