COSS is a Finnish nonprofit founded in 2003 to strengthen competitiveness through open source software. It promotes open source solutions for industries and users, produces communications for open source companies, and supports collaboration between organizations. COSS has helped identify and grow the Finnish open source business ecosystem and increased acceptance of open source. It also facilitates international cooperation on open source.
