For companies that have multiple brands or business lines and have a need to build or maintain a unique, autonomous
brand presence, the SharePoint Server for Internet Sites, Enterprise Edition is the perfect solution.

Single Domain
For companies whose web presence only requires a single domain with a individual brand SharePoint Server for Internet
Sites, Standard Edition is a good solution. A single domain is defined as a combination of a top-level domain (.com, .net,
.org, .co.uk, etc.) with subdomains. Examples of valid domains are example.com, example.co.uk and example.net.
Subdomains are any URL with the names directly to the left of .com, .net, etc. There must only be a single default page
(homepage).
