2. I remember my first major bbq comp was in Bixby ,2005,
and we were set up next to Mike. Me and my partner had a
few to many to drink that night and passed out in the truck.
When we woke up in the morning the rain, which was a
major downpoor that night, had soaked all our wood and
our cooker was out. Mike gave us some charcoal to get it
started again and we salvaged a call-in chicken. Thats just
one of many. I've known him through the cooking world of
either chili or BBQ for 15 years.

3. Hey Mike,
Do you remember the time in Fayetteville AR
when a strong gust of wind toppled his big,
fancy chili cooking rig. Spilled it all! But he
scraped some up from the parking lot and
turned it in (with some help from the rest of
us). And a passing dog cleaned up the rest
while we watched. This was at least fifteen
years ago.
