Wellbeing at Work The ability to reach the highest potential possible for the individual and the organisation. Includes short term emotional outcomes, long term psychological, physical functioning and work performance Demonstrated by productivity, effectiveness, satisfaction, commitment.
The Evidence Work environments affect wellbeing High  demands+ Low control+ Poor support= Stress Consequences = motivation, absenteeism, performance People respond differently to work pressure Vital Role = Managers and Teamwork
There’s no time for staff wellbeing……there’s no time…. For me To think The patient comes first Chance would be a fine thing…. Staff wellbeing is low down on the priority list Put up and shut up  Be glad you’ve got a job….
