1. I find the simplicity of Children’s Books wonderful.
So often they say what is in our adult hearts. In the
spirit of Thanksgiving, I am thankful for
“the sun that wakes me up so I don’t sleep for years
and years and grow a long white beard,” “the
ladybug that landed on my finger, a little red flying
surprise,” “my friend Billy, who showed me the
book about a boy giant who puts his little parents
on top of a tall tree when they misbehave,” “my
little brother, who threw mashed peas at my sister
and made me laugh so hard that I fell off my chair,”
and so much more.
Take a moment to be thankful and to count your
simple blessings. On behalf of Mrs. B and myself,
have a wonderful holiday.
