12. Singapore: Malay language education We need to keep up with students’ changing interest, especially those in secondary schools. They are logged on to the Internet-world of MSN, blogging, Facebookand these have evolved them to be computer-savvy individuals. I would like to encourage teachers to be able to use the same platforms to develop a community of young Malay intellectuals who are able to act as a catalyst in creating critical and creative thinkers.
