This document discusses a partnership called "Appy Together" to improve adult numeracy skills through technology. It summarizes a report showing that adults in Britain performed poorly in literacy and numeracy skills and those with better numeracy had better employment outcomes. It promotes online resources for learning maths skills in everyday contexts and recommends that 10% of publicly funded further education be delivered online by 2015, and 50% by 2017. The conclusion is that technology needs to adapt to learning situations and when there are major learning issues, all relevant experts should work together to address it using their different areas of expertise.

• Technology is going to happen
• Technology needs to adapt to a situation
• When there’s a major learning issue, we
can’t sit back
• There are different areas of expertise
when it comes to learning...pedagogy,
delivery, technical etc - we can all try to
tackle it in our own way alone...or all
tackle it in our own way together.
• We’ll always appy together!
