most modern countries count their histories in
hundreds of years. Only modern China can come
anywhere near this in terms of historical continuity.
 Egypt is the very old country. It has a great history.
Everyone knows Egyptian Pyramids. Their Pyramids
were built when Egypt was the powerful country; they
invented most useful things because they were very
clever. They didn’t have the king their kings were the
pharaohs. Our mission is to tell you all about the old
Egyptian life…

Ancient Egyptians...
 1. To date, over 130 pyramids have been discovered in Egypt.
 2. Both Egyptian men and women wore makeup. The eye-paint was usually
green the Egyptians believed makeup had magical healing powers, too!
 3.The Egyptian alphabet contained more than 700 hieroglyphs! Uncover the

 7.Cleopatra was the queen of Egypt for around 22 years. She is today one the

 The story of ancient Egypt has survived for thousands
of years. Egypt was one of the greatest civilizations of
the past. The monuments and tombs of their Pharaohs
continue to stand intact today, some 4,000 years later!

 The pyramids of Egypt are the last remaining ancient wonder of the world.

 Egyptians created glass and faience objects.
 Fact 8:
 Luxor in Egypt are known as the world's largest open air museum.
 Fact 9:
 The official name of Egypt is Arab Republic of Egypt.
 Fact 10:
 Egyptians invented the 365 days calendar.
 Giza necropolis us near the Cairo, capital city of Egypt,
in empty desert in the bank of nile. This complex
includes the three pyramid complexes, which are
known as the Great Pyramids, the massive sculpture
known for roles on behalf of the Great Sphinx, several
cemeteries, a workers' village and an industrial
complex.
 Pyramids seen as a symbol of ancient Egyptian
civilization. it’s one of the Seven Wonders of the world
wonders.
 The Great Sphinx is located on the Giza Plateau 25km
south west of Cairo, bordering the Sahara Desert on
the west bank of the River Nile. The Great Sphinx is
one of the symbols of Egypt. It was named as 'Abul-
hol' by the Bedouins meaning the "father of terror".
The massive statue has the head of a man wearing a
headdress and the body of lion.

  • 2.  Ancient Egyptian history covers a continuous period of over three thousand years. To put this in perspective - most modern countries count their histories in hundreds of years. Only modern China can come anywhere near this in terms of historical continuity.  Egypt is the very old country. It has a great history. Everyone knows Egyptian Pyramids. Their Pyramids were built when Egypt was the powerful country; they invented most useful things because they were very clever. They didn’t have the king their kings were the pharaohs. Our mission is to tell you all about the old Egyptian life…
  • 3.  Join us as we head 5,000 years back in time to discover ten fantastic facts about the Ancient Egyptians...  1. To date, over 130 pyramids have been discovered in Egypt.  2. Both Egyptian men and women wore makeup. The eye-paint was usually green the Egyptians believed makeup had magical healing powers, too!  3.The Egyptian alphabet contained more than 700 hieroglyphs! Uncover the meaning behind these ancient symbols HERE.  4.Most families kept a cat as a pet, which they believed would bring the good luck!  5.Love playing boardgames One popular game was 'Senet', which was played for over 2000 years!  6.The Ancient Egyptians invented lots of things we still use today, such as paper, pens, locks and keys and - believe it or not - toothpaste!  7.Cleopatra was the queen of Egypt for around 22 years. She is today one the most famous Ancient Egyptians - but did you know she was actually Greek?!
  • 4.  The story of ancient Egypt has survived for thousands of years. Egypt was one of the greatest civilizations of the past. The monuments and tombs of their Pharaohs continue to stand intact today, some 4,000 years later!  Where in the world is Egypt?  Egypt is situated in the northeast corner of the Africa.
  • 5.  Fact 1:  Egypt is the 34th largest country in the world.  Fact 2:  Some of the ancient Egyptians slept on pillows made out of stone.  Fact 3:  Arabic is the official language of Egypt.  Fact 4:  The first pyramid made out of stone was built in 2650 BC.  Fact 5:  Acient Egyptians used to play a game very similar to todays bowling.
  • 6.  Fact 6:  The pyramids of Egypt are the last remaining ancient wonder of the world.  Fact 7:  Egyptians created glass and faience objects.  Fact 8:  Luxor in Egypt are known as the world's largest open air museum.  Fact 9:  The official name of Egypt is Arab Republic of Egypt.  Fact 10:  Egyptians invented the 365 days calendar.
  • 7.  Giza necropolis us near the Cairo, capital city of Egypt, in empty desert in the bank of nile. This complex includes the three pyramid complexes, which are known as the Great Pyramids, the massive sculpture known for roles on behalf of the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers' village and an industrial complex.  Pyramids seen as a symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization. it’s one of the Seven Wonders of the world wonders.
  • 8.  The Great Sphinx is located on the Giza Plateau 25km south west of Cairo, bordering the Sahara Desert on the west bank of the River Nile. The Great Sphinx is one of the symbols of Egypt. It was named as 'Abul- hol' by the Bedouins meaning the "father of terror". The massive statue has the head of a man wearing a headdress and the body of lion.

  • 10.  new year sun shines. We were swimming in the pool. We know that, there is hot in Egypt. there is not snow. So there is not normal “New Year”. I was in Egypt and in new year there in “Bikinis” are dancing girls. They are dancing samba. This is great concert. Performers are beautiful.
